SHOULD I DO THE ON-RAMP?

If you would describe yourself as any of the following, then selecting the On-Ramp is the best way for you to get started, and recommended before regularly joining group classes:

  • You are starting your first fitness program.

  • You are just starting a fitness program after a long period of inactivity.

  • You exercise regularly, but have no previous CrossFit Experience.

  • You have previous CrossFit Experience, but have taken at least 6 months off.

  • You CrossFit on your own regularly, but you do so without a coach.

  • You want to gain a thorough understanding of CrossFit foundations & fundamentals.

HOW DO I BEGIN THE ON-RAMP?

Sign-up here and then contact us to schedule your initial session. Your first 1-on-1 session involves performing a functional movement screening, followed by a brief workout introducing some basics. The following 3 sessions, you will workout 1-on-1 with a coach, progressively learning various foundational CrossFit movements with appropriate scaling to your fitness capacity, gradually ramping up the intensity to challenge your fitness. These On-Ramp sessions will prepare you for understanding CrossFit terminology, orientating you to the gym and equipment, while giving your body time to gradually adjust to the rigor of joining the regular group sessions. Usually the entire course is completed within 1 to 2 weeks depending on your availability and level of fitness. At the end of these sessions you will achieve a base familiarity with the movements, equipment, coach, environment and all that you need to thrive amongst the group setting.
